Rumors about the resignation of German Stadler are not exaggerated
For a long time it remained a mystery for the residents of North Ossetia – Alania whether the Prosecutor of the republic German Stadler will leave his post or not. On the one hand, the central media and a number of local newspapers were quick to declare the chair of the Prosecutor in North Ossetia to be vacant, having «sent» Mr. Stadler to the North - to the distant Karelia. On the other, this information was strongly refuted by the employees of the North Ossetian Prosecutor’s Office, who were calmly replying: «German Stadler remains at his post». It turns out there is no smoke without fire: Mr. Stadler was indeed appointed Prosecutor of the Republic of Karelia. Before leaving from North Ossetia to Russia's North, the now ex-Prosecutor of RNO-A organized a press conference for the republican media. During his meeting with journalists German Stadler did not make mysteries from the work done during the three years of his being in this responsible position. As one of the positive results, Mr. Stadler named enforced reimbursement of general wage debts amounting to 140 million rubles. And among the t’s uncrossed, he mentioned investigation of resonant crimes and some program activities that were not brought to the end as projected till 2010, and first of all - the comprehensive program for combating corruption, among them.
