Georgiyevsk is a small town with the population of 70 thousand people, the majority of whom are Russians, but, as elsewhere in the Caucasian Mineral Waters, here live many Armenians, Chechens, Daghestanis, Azerbaijanis. However, inter-ethnic conflicts here, in contrast to neighboring cities, are rather an exception to the rule. One can remember only the events in October 2007, when in Georgiyevsk took place a mass brawl between Chechens and Russians, in which about one hundred people took part, as estimated by local bloggers. The reason for the scuffle was a banal domestic quarrel - two guys did not divide a girl, word for word, each called buddies... Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt. However, the latest criminal chronicle of Stavropol has shown what such a «domestic quarrel» can lead to, when it is broken out among adults, not teenagers.
A real carnage unfolded in one of the quietest cities of the Stavropol region. On Wednesday, about 11 p.m., at the center of Georgiyevsk on Park Street (it is a quiet safe district) took place a mass brawl. A crowd of young neo-Nazis in medical masks, armed with reinforcing rods and knives, organized a street «raid», shouting fascist slogans. Angry scums brutally beat up three boys - an Armenian and two Russians. Militia forces were drawn up to the place of mass brawl. The bandits were pinched.
Ten boys have been detained, the youngest of them is 18 years old (he is a schoolboy), and the rest are students of local colleges and institutes. The law enforcement officers have been most alerted by the fact that the guys had a bottle with the inscription «People's Liberation Front of Russia». It is not known what this strange organization is, but usually street fighters use such bottles to make the so-called «Molotov cocktail». As the guys confessed later, they had long been communicated by ICQ with each other and with the Nazis from other cities.
And that's not all disgusting things of the week. On the night of Saturday/Sunday, June 7, in a cafe of the north-western district of the regional center quarreled representatives of two companies, one cut the throat of the other and escaped... A few hours later in the other end of town, the murderer’s congener (we deliberately did not specify his nationality) was seriously wounded by a shot in the back of the head from the traumatic gun. He was taken to resuscitation, where he died the next day. The law enforcers do not exclude that this murder was committed because of blood feud. |
