Over the last week Ingushetia has once again been the focus of attention, this time on very positive grounds, however: the People's Assembly of this youngest republic among the subjects of the Russian Federation is 15 years old. With congratulations to their colleagues-lawmakers, in Ingushetia arrived representatives of the legislative bodies of Daghestan, Chechnya, North Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kalmykia, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Rostov region, and even Abkhazia. Among the guests were also representatives of the Republic of Ingushetia in the Federation Council Vasily Likhachyov and Issa Kostoyev, as well as deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. «Over the past years a lot has changed in the formation of the Legislative Assembly, and today there is every reason to call the People's Assembly of the Republic of Ingushetia a professionally working legislative institution», - the President of the republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said in his welcoming speech to the Parliament. The participants were unanimous in the opinion that the People's Assembly of Ingushetia will continue to address all of its legislative activities with the same responsibility, will adopt only reasonable documents, not conflicting with the basic law, which is common to all subjects of the Russian Federation.
