The Administration of the President of the Republic of Ingushetia is now headed by Vladimir Borshchev. As informed by the Press Service of the President of the Republic, he was appointed to this post by presidential decree of Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. Before the assignment of the new Head of Administration, these duties were performed by Yakoub Patiyev, who is now appointed the First Deputy Head of Administration of the President of Ingushetia.

The First Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar region Yevgeny Muravyov resigned. He was appointed to the post of the first vice-governor of Kuban in June 2008, following the voluntary resignation of Alexander Remezkov, who is now heading the board of directors of Krayinvestbank. On January 12, another Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar region - Tatyana Yevsikova, who was in charge of the issues of economic development in the Administration of Kuban, was appointed the acting Mayor of Anapa. In his turn, the ex-Head of the resort city Anatoly Pakhomov was transferred to an executive position in the Administration of Sochi.

Under the order of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yury Chaika, Senior Legal Adviser Oleg Ponasenko has been appointed the Prosecutor of Karachayevo-Cherkessia. Earlier O. Ponasenko had worked as a Senior investigator of the Office of Public Prosecutor in Verkhny Ufaley, a Prosecutor of Ust-Katava of the Chelyabinsk oblast, a Prosecutor of Asha of the Chelyabinsk oblast, Head of Inspectorate for the enforcement of laws on transport and customs authorities of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Chelyabinsk oblast, Head of department for ensuring the participation of the Prosecutor in trying criminal cases by courts under the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Chelyabinsk oblast, a Deputy Prosecutor of the Sverdlovsk oblast, had been holding the post of the first deputy of the Ural Transport Prosecutor. He was awarded a breastplate «Honorary employee of the prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation».

In the town of Izobilny took place a dedication service of the new church of Transfiguration of Our Christ. The solemn service was held by the Archbishop of Stavropol and Vladikavkaz Feofan.
The temple was reared with the active support of JSC «Gazprom» and «Kavkaztransgaz» Ltd., which was especially noted by the Russian Orthodox Church in letters of appreciation to the gas companies.
The solemn service was attended by the Governor of the region Valery Gayevsky who donated the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God to the new church.

The special construction department under the Ministry of Construction of Chechnya at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office has paid 90 million rubles of arrears of wages. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office of the republic, on the audit of the SUE «Special construction under the Ministry of Construction of the Chechen Republic», the Prosecutor's Office has revealed serious violations of labor laws that require taking effective measures, directed at their elimination.
