Nalchik hosted the field meeting of the Secretariat of the Russia's Union of Cinematographers, with the participation of representatives of North Ossetia - Alania, Daghestan, Karachayevo-Cherkessia, Adygea and Ingushetia. The meeting, devoted to the revival of film industry in the republics of the Northern Caucasus, was attended by the President of KBR Arsen Kanokov.
The development of competition in the republic, preventing and combating abuse of dominant position by major manufacturers, monitoring compliance with the established procedures for state and municipal assistance, placement of corresponding orders in advertising business - these and many other issues were presented by the head of department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Pshinshev in his report at the meeting of the KBR President Arsen Kanokov with members of the Government.

The President of KBR Arsen Kanokov signed a decree on establishing a new state executive authority of the republic - Permanent Representation of Kabardino-Balkaria in St. Petersburg.
The socio-political, literary-and-art illustrated journal «Life of nationalities» was founded in 1918. It was published up to January 1924, but its publication has been resumed since 1992.
