In the Krasnodar region were held celebrations on the occasion of the Kuban Cossacks’ Day. On October 15 was marked the 19th anniversary since the revival of the Kuban Cossack army.
In Krasnodar took place the parade of the Kuban Cossack Army devoted to the 18th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of Russia «On rehabilitation of repressed peoples».
Main works on the construction of the Sochi Cathedral of St. Prince Vladimir have been done. Now professionals carry out the decoration work. It was planned to put the cathedral into operation this summer, but now it is impossible. One has to blame the notorious financial crisis.
Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar region at the first reading adopted the law «On anti-corruption actions», aimed at strengthening of anti-corruption measures in state and local authorities.
The work has resumed at one of the oldest enterprises of the city - the Krasnodar brick factory. At the beginning of February a kiln was stopped, and workers were sent to a vacation without pay. The reason was debts for consumed gas. Now the «heart of the factory» has beaten again - thanks to the support of the administration and a crisis management plan.

The judicial board on civil cases of the Supreme Court of Russia granted the submission of the regional Prosecutor's Office and declared illegal the amendments to the regional law prohibiting the sale of energy drinks to minors. The deputies immediately tried to put a brave face on a sorry business and stated that the law had been allegedly misunderstood. They said they did not prohibit the sale of «Pepsi-Cola», but only restricted the sale of drinks with caffeine.
